1995年，国内首只智能马桶盖板在浙江台州诞生。23年后，这座城市成了中国最大的智能马桶生产基地，当地年产值实现近三年翻番增长，去年产值突破40亿元，产品远销欧美、东南亚等50多个国家和地区。自动翻盖、遥控冲水烘干、APP互联一键检修等，如拥有相同制作标准、相似功能的智能马桶，国内智能马桶价位普遍比国外智能马桶便宜30％左右。马桶产业被当地政府升格为台州市五大重点培育千亿支柱产业之一，意欲打造成为全国首个千亿级智能马桶产业集群。

目前，大多数台州智能马桶企业都实行代工生产与自主品牌“两条腿”走路的发展战略。海外市场需求量也从另一面印证台州智能马桶具备国际化标准的技术实力。从今年3月开始，台州市已全面实施智能马桶产品质量攻坚行动，通过加大创新驱动为核心，并不断满足消费者的个性化需求，促进当地卫浴产业转型升级。当地三家龙头企业牵头开展加热器、控制器、清洗器、电磁阀等4个关键零部件联合技术攻关，争取结束智能马桶电子器件等配件依赖外购的历史。

Business |  Taizhou heads the upgrade of smart toilets made in China

In 1995, the first smart toilet seat cover in China was made in Taizhou, Zhejiang. 23 years later, the city has become the biggest manufacturing base of the smart toilet in China. Last year, the annual turnover has exceeded 4 billion yuan, after doubling growth for three consecutive years. The products have been sold to over 50 countries in Europe, Americas, and Southeast Asia. With similar functions as automatic seat cover, remote control of flushing and drying, one-touch internet examination App, and same standards, smart toilets of Taizhou are 30% cheaper than those produced in foreign countries generally. Toilet industry is one of the five key 100-billion-yuan-scale industries the city's government now fosters, and will make it the first national smart toilet industry group of 100-billion-yuan scale.

Now, most smart toilet companies both have OEM and their own brands. The overseas demand also testifies Taizhou's technical capacity that has reached international standard. From this March, Taizhou launched the smart toilet quality improvement campaign, which upgrades the business through innovation-driven initiative and individualized customer needs. Three key companies are driving for the joint technical task force to have breakthroughs in 4 key components, namely, heater, control part, washing part, and electromagnetic valve, in order to end the dependency of purchasing these parts from overseas.
